Malagouzia
Paleochori
Malagouzia is everywhere in Greece, but rarely like this. In Paleochori, Apostolidis pushes the variety into sharper focus; stainless steel, cool fermentation, months on the lees. Precision, not perfume.
The result is Malagouzia with structure. Peach, apricot, and grapefruit meet jasmine and a hint of musk, lifted by cutting acidity and a delicate tannic frame. Smooth yet vibrant, layered yet never heavy.
Paleochori shows Malagouzia at its most disciplined, not soft, not showy, but alive, mineral, and built to last.
