Conde De los Andes Rioja Tinto 2018 brings the depth of mature Tempranillo vines into a fresh, expressive Rioja. Made from 100% Tempranillo, it carries the character of a historic Ollauri producer into a red built around fruit, structure and the pleasure of a long meal. It is a wine with substance and a lively sense of balance.

The work begins with hand harvesting and careful handling of the grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel draws out colour and flavour, while maturation develops the wine’s texture and complexity. The aim is a complete expression of Tempranillo, with enough freshness to keep each glass inviting.

Cherry-red in colour, it opens with red-fruit and ripe-plum aromas, alongside a savoury suggestion of Mediterranean herbs. The palate has shape and depth, carried by fresh acidity into a juicy, lasting finish. Fruit and structure sit comfortably together, giving the wine a generous character without losing definition.

This Rioja Tinto belongs at a table of grilled lamb, roasted meats or slow-cooked dishes. It also pairs naturally with charcuterie and mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C and give it room in the glass: its balance of fruit, freshness and savoury detail rewards an unhurried meal.
