Robola
Gentilini Robola is the wine that put Kefalonia on the map. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards on the slopes and valley of Mount Ainos, within the heart of the Robola PDO, it captures the purity and tension that make the variety one of Greece’s finest. The soils are stony and limestone-rich. The yields tiny. The nights cold even in summer. All of it funnels into a white wine built on clarity and precision.
Fermentation happens in stainless steel at low temperatures, with a short period of gentle lees stirring to add finesse. The profile stays unmistakably Robola: citrus at the core, white peach on the edges, and a fine mineral line that runs straight through the palate. Smooth, refreshing, and quietly complex.
This is Gentilini’s signature expression. A benchmark. A reminder that when Robola grows high and is handled with a light touch, it doesn’t need noise or decoration. It speaks for itself. Clean. Bright. Effortlessly elegant.
