Potamisi
Potamisi is a grape that almost vanished. On Tinos, Vaptistis rescued a small old vineyard of fifty-year-old vines and gave it a second life. Grown on schist and slate, dry-farmed, beaten by the Aegean wind. It’s not a vineyard, it’s a fight for survival.
The wine is golden, textured, and unlike anything else in the Cyclades. Layers of dried apricot, lemon curd, brioche, even a hint of waxy grip. It’s not built to be “easy.” It’s built to be true.
Vaptistis Potamisi is living proof that forgotten grapes can return with force. A wine that speaks in an ancient dialect, yet lands with a modern punch.
