Red
This is not a generic island red. Vaptistis builds it from Mandilaria and Mavrothiriko, two grapes as wild as the Tinos landscape itself. Thick skins, fierce winds, schist soils; nothing here grows easy.
The result is a wine that’s peppery, bright with red and black fruit, and surprisingly elegant for such rugged raw material. Medium-bodied, savory, and restless, it doesn’t aim to imitate anyone else’s style.
Vaptistis Red is Tinos speaking in its own voice: sharp, untamed, and unforgettable.
