Coupage Monastrell - Syrah
De Nariz Coupage Monastrell Syrah brings together two grapes that feel completely at home in Yecla. Monastrell gives the wine its Mediterranean identity, with ripe dark fruit, spice and depth. Syrah adds lift, freshness and a slightly more polished edge.
The fruit comes from dry-farmed vineyards shaped by altitude, sun and limestone-rich soils. That combination keeps the wine generous without letting it become heavy, with enough freshness to hold the ripe fruit in place.
In the glass, expect blackberry, plum, herbs and pepper, with soft tannins and restrained oak. It is approachable, but not simple. A versatile red with enough character for grilled meats, stews and richer Mediterranean dishes, and enough balance to work comfortably by the glass.
