Luis Alegre Crianza is classic Rioja Alavesa with a clean, modern edge. Made entirely from Tempranillo, it brings together ripe red fruit, gentle spice and polished oak without losing the freshness that makes a good Crianza so easy to come back to.

The grapes come from small parcels around Laguardia and Elciego, planted between 400 and 610 metres. The vines average around 50 years old, growing on limestone-rich soils with clay and sandstone. Altitude and the mixed Atlantic, Mediterranean and continental influences help keep the fruit fresh and the structure balanced.

After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine spends 14 months in French and American oak. Cherry and raspberry lead the profile, followed by spice, toasted notes and a subtle mineral character. The palate is silky and structured, with soft tannins and enough weight for roast lamb, grilled meats, charcuterie or a simple plate of good cheese.
