Clot de les Soleres is a small, independent wine project based at Heretat Ferrer de la Vall in Piera, Anoia, where winemaking has been part of the estate since at least the 16th century. The modern chapter began in 2000 with new vineyard plantings, followed by the restoration of the old winery and the release of the first Clot de les Soleres red in 2008.

Today, Carles works the vineyards while Montse leads the cellar. Everything starts with fruit from their own estate, organically farmed, hand harvested and vinified according to biodynamic principles. The wines are made without added sulphites or other oenological additives, and without filtration or clarification. Nothing is polished into uniformity.

That is really the point of Clot de les Soleres. Each wine is a direct snapshot of a grape, a vineyard and a particular year. Small-scale, uncompromising and deliberately close to the land, this is natural wine with a clear agricultural identity rather than a stylistic agenda.
